WinHlp problems in Visa

I have some older applications that will not display help files in Vista.

Are there any applications that will display .hlp files in Vista?

support for hlp files is not included in Windows Vista RTM. There is
rumored to be a download coming to add support back, but not ETA on it.

Michael,

HLP format is obsolete. However, there will be Vista version of Windows Help
program (WinHlp32.exe) available as a free download at Microsoft Download
Center some time next year.

Note that 16-bit HLP files are still supported in Vista. Go figure...
