WINNET.EXE Error Message at Shut Down

Posted: 07-16-2003, 10:20 PM
Whenever I shut down the computer, I get the following
message: "WINNET.EXE-DLL initialization failed. The
application failed to initialize because the window
station is shutting down."
I have to keep clicking on "OK" several times and finally
another window comes up titled "End Program - WFET". When
I click on the "end program" button, the computer will
finally shut down.
Any advise on how to fix this? The problem appeared 2
days after I installed Windows XP on a new hard drive.
Help!
Thanks very much.
