WinXP Pro Plug & Play won't work

Posted: 04-26-2004, 08:37 PM
We have Windows XP Professional, and it does not seem to
work with plug and play things that use the USB.

When we had winXP Home, everything worked fine; but since
we've had WinXP Professional, it will NOT detect my Silver-
Link Cable (TI-Graph Link USB) or my USB Flash memory
device. Both use the USB and are supposed to be plug and
play. Assuming that nothing is wrong with the hardware,
what could be wrong / how can I fix it?

I do not think anything is wrong with the hardware; our
printer uses the USB and works fine; when I plug the flash
memory device in, it lights up, so I know there's a
connection

Please email your responses to shkaboinka@yahoo.com, as I
have never used these message boards before and may not
check them again
