Wireless

Just got a new laptop. It came with XP Home, and my
wireless connection worked fine. I had to upgrade to XP
Pro so I could joing our domain. Now my wireless
connection isn't working.

The device says it is fine but it won't show any wireless
networks and the "advanced" button is greyed out.

As this worked in "Home", I am sure it works in Pro.
What do I have to do to get this working???

Thanx
Tom

Did you try re-running the network wizard all the PCs on the network and did
you make sure any firewalls were turned off during the wizard? Have you
tried turning off any firewalls on the laptop? When you run the wizard, one
of the questions asks how this computer connects to the Internet, an
incorrect response can prevent network access. Usually, the "Gateway"
response as opposed to Network hub resolves that issue.

If none of the above solves the problem or is related, try your question on
the windowsxp.network_web newsgroup.
