| We have a wireless AP that does not broadcast it's SSID and one of our Vista Machines has a problem with it. If we set it up to connect and give it the proper name and Wep Key. it works just fine. However when we leave and come back then it finds the access point as an unnamed network and you have to configure it again. Then I end up haveing a second connection Made over time we end up have Wireless Points configure to the same AP it would look like companySSID companySSID 1 companySSID 2 Any ideas are appreciated. | Guest

| I have the same problem. I made a profile in "Manage wireless networks", but that doesn't help. When I cold boot the system it usually finds the AP, but when I returns from sleep mode it usually doesn't find the AP. | I have done both with the same results it only happens on Non Broadcasting AP's Which I know is not recommended but convincing others of this will take time. "Mike" <michielb2001@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:45b0ddaf$0$26346$e4fe514c@dreader18.news.xs4a ll.nl... Quote:
