Wireless Issue

Hi,

I have a company laptop with XP Prof. that is setup for a company network.
I have a wireless network (just broadband with no domain or anything) at
home with netgear and my laptop has a wireless card. When I take my laptop
home it sees my wireless network with a strong signal and with 11 mbps
connection speed. However, the problem I am having is that the download
speeds on the internet is slower than a phone line (tested via
dslreports.com). When I plug my laptop for a direct connection it works
great. So, I am confused why the wireless is so slow especially since there
is a strong signal and the 11 mbps connection speed. Does anyone have any
ideas why this is happening?

Thanks
