Wireless Lag

it seems to work well while surfing the web and downloading files, but gaming
thats a different story.
When I load a any online multiplayer game and start to play, at first it
seems to be working just as it did in Windows XP. But after about 3 or 4
minuets I notice a gap in my connection casuing lag that makes me appear to
teleport across levels. The problem was also in Windows XP, a service called
Wireless Zero Configuration caused this problem. It would scan for new
wireless networks fequently casuing the "bubble" of lag in any online game.
Now, in Windows XP I was able to turn this off once connected to my network
by stopping the Wireless Zero Configuration in the services shortcut threw
the Administrator's Tools. I would do this now, but Windows Vista does not
seem to have this service, but it is somehow creating the same lag effect.
Did Microsoft rename this service? Does anyone know of a way around this. Any
help at all is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan
