| I just got a new notebook, and managed to successfully hook it up to a wireless router. Everything works fine UNTIL it enters sleep or hibernate mode. Once it enters one of those modes, the computer no longer has a network connection when it comes out of sleep or hibernate. In fact, when I try to find my connection in the "Network and Sharing Center" there is nothing there. The only "fix" I have been able to find is to reboot or restart the computer. Then the computer automatically finds the network connection and everything is good. | Guest

| I have a new Gateway laptop with Vista and a pc with XP. Purchased a new wireless n router and a USB connecter for the pc. The pc has no issues connecting with the USB connecter with strong signal 4 rooms away from the router. The laptop is set to automatically connect to that network as long as it is available. The issue I am having is that it does not see that network of the vista tells me it does not and I have to do the repair the wireless connection 3 times to get it to connect. Takes over 5 minutes of me trying to connect before it does. Anyone else have this issue? | Guest

| I have been having the same issue but it has been since we returned from holidays and manually connected to a public network. Everytime we turn the computer on we have to repair the wireless internet connection to access the internet. I have tried multiple times to fix this but don't know how. If anyone knows what to do please advise. -- Walking Encyclopedia JJ "t2sdayaz" wrote: Quote:
