| I am trying to configure some wireless networks and I use Vista. I remember that with XP (maybe it was the laptops utility) I could also see the channel of the device where I logon. This is important so that I know at any time whether I am connected to the router or on one of the Access Points and which one. Is there a way in Vista to know the channel of the wireless network? | Guest

| Hi You can use the netsh wlan show networks mode command. http://technet2.microsoft.com/window....mspx?mfr=true Find the exact command parameters that give you the info and make a batch file of it. Drag a shortcut to the Desktop and you would be able to see the info in few seconds. Jack (MVP-Networking).
