Default Wireless router; setting up my wireless network?

I tried to set up my wireless router network via:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/more...tup.mspx#step2

The username and password are not working for me. It will not accept them.

Using the wizad; I don't know what they want from me when they ask for a USB
flash drive. Was that supposed to come with my wireless linksys?

Help me! Please!

etc. How are you going about setting up your router? Is it the usernam
and password for the router you are talking about. I'd forget using th

Hi
It is much better to set the Wireless manually.
May be this can Help, these pages describe the general principle
Wireless Basic Configuration - <http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Config.html>
Wireless Security - <http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.htm>
These two pages have specific instructions for Vista.

Default RE: Wireless router; setting up my wireless network?

You should be setting up your wireless in your router.
It is asking for a USB flash drive as it thinks that you want those settings
on other computers in your Network; and will save them to the USB for you to
taketo the others.

Conect your computer to the router with a Cat5 cable, log into the router,
and set the Network, and WPA2 security Key, up in there. Then turn on the
wireless in there!

Once you have done that, in Vista Start> connect to> put in Network name,
and security key that you made in the router.
