Wireless USB Adapter seen as "Mass Storage Device"

Posted: 09-18-2003, 12:10 PM
I have installed and verified function of my wireless
broadband connection on my HP a250n desktop using a MS MN-
510 wireless adapter. Problem is, EVERYTIME I turn off
the computer and restart, the adapter is then seen by the
computer as a "mass storage device" and no connection is
made (or even possible) to my wireless network. However,
if I then pull out the adapter for a few seconds and put
it back in, my wireless connection is restored and the
adapter is recognized as such. However, the computer
still believes there is a mass storage device on the G, H,
I, and H ports. I have in the past used the IOMEGA mini
zip drive on this computer. Any suggestions?
