Wireless XP PRO issues

Posted: 07-30-2003, 06:12 PM
Hi all,
I installed a 2wire wireless hub/modem yesterday and can
access the web on a limited basis. I can get to the
hotmail login page, type in my password, then it just
times out. If I go to my eBay, same scenario, it times
out when attempting to access the secure area. I cannot
access timezone.com at all.

When I tried to download IE Service pack 1 in an attempt
to solve this issue, I was told I needed to enter my
proxy settings to start the download. (my provider does
not use proxy settings at all and nothing proxy related
is checked in the internet tools area)

I then thought to download netscape to see if it was a
microsoft issue or my providers issue and I received a
similar message, upon attempt to download, I got a
message that claimed I wasn't connected to the network.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
TR
