Wireless Zero Configuration

Has anyone seen an issue with XP where the Wireless Zero Configuration
service doesn't exist in services? If so how would I resolve it?

My wireless zero configuration is missing under the admin
tools/service tab. How do I replace the missing file.

If it does not show in the list of Services:

run regedit and find

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\WZCSVC

add a DWORD entry named "Start" and
value "2"

I have been told by linksys that I need a wireless zero
configuration file. This file was not found in my XP
Professional operating system.
Where do you find this file and install the file.

The WZC isn't a file, it's a service. Click Start, then
click Run. Type "services.msc" (without quotes) and click
Ok (or press Enter). Scroll through the list on your XP
machine and make sure it is started and set to automatic.
