| Here is an update, i just figured that while downloading something that lasts more than 1 minute, there are no lag spikes But, as soon as the download is finished, lag spikes appear again Proof [img]http://images3.hiboox.com/images/1808/il59wmre.jpg[/img Maybe a way to find th answer of the problem. | Hi again I finally solved my problem purchasing a secondhand Ethernet Adaptator (also known as a Wifi Bridge) for about 25 euros It's a Belkin F5D7330 and by now, everything is working perfectly I have no more lag spikes and my ping is low and constant Proof [/URL [/URLAn Ethernet Adaptator receives the signal by Wifi and then transmit data to the PC (or MAC or Xbox, or Playstation, etc...) by Ethernet As coming by the Ethernet Port, the WLAN service is not sollicited and no more lag spikes appear There are no drivers for an Ethernet Adaptator so it is compatible with everything that has an Ethernet Port I encourage you to buy this type of product if you have the Wifi problem with Vista, you won't regret it ; Good Luck Guys ! | This is not true, and is a complete cop-out for Microsoft. I've had this problem when listening to or recording music: every 60 seconds there is a lag. I had discovered that it has something to do with my wireless searching every minute, but couldn't find a solution until this forum, and the simple little third-party VAL provided by our German friend. Jack's response was completely inappropriate. The fact that Microsoft would not fix or even acknowledge the problem is pathetic. Music should not be interrupted every minute. Now it's fixed. Maybe German technology needs to replace Microsoft. "Jack (MVP-Networking)." wrote: Quote:

for Vista32/64, worked 100% except for the SMC Wireless USB Adaptors, which disconnected completely for some unknown reason (probably bad drivers). I am currently using the Asus WL-169gE and have not had a single wireless spike! -- PhurBos | Guest

| Julien's Anti-Lag stopped working, so I sent into Computer Management>Services & Apps>Services>WLAN Autoconfig and set it to Manual rather than Automatic. This seems to prevent the 60 search. But still connects to any available Network connection. Post Originated from http://www.VistaForums.com Vista Support Forums | Guest

many people, on many, many adapters. Vista Anti-Lag only improved the situation for me (one single spike rather than several), but according to the guy who developed it, Julian, it has a higher success rate on XP drivers, so I'm going to find an XP driver for my Broadcom and see what happens. | Guest
