Hi all! I did check the newsgroup for this problem and did not find any previous thread for it. After installing and reinstalling WMDC several times, now it "disappeared" completely from my Laptop (Windows Vista Ultimate.) In my last install attempt, it looked for HP RNDIS driver, installed it but, then, it "disappeared." I checked CONTROL PANEL, INSTALL-UNINSTALL menu and it is not there; I checked the ALL PROGRAMS menu, it is not there; I checked the COMPUTER menu, looking for my HP hx4700, to see if it was connecting, it was not there either (but this is something that has been happening since the get go). It seems that the hx4700 is not "seen" by the Vista Ultimate OS. HP tried to help but then they eventually couldn't and they said to check with Microsoft. Well, why is this happening? How can I solve this problem? Have any of you found a solution for connecting your PDA to Vista Ultimate? Can you share it with me? I have downloaded WMDC 6 and that is the one with which I am having problems. By the way, before installing WMDC 6, I checked the CONTROL PANEL, INSTALL-UNINSTALL menu and it listed a "Windows Mobile Center," not WMDC but some other thing, and that "disappeared" too. Any help? One more issue, after I "run" the installation utility for WMDC, the installation begins but then suddenly it stops and retrieves, literally, what it did and closes the installation. With anticipated gratitude for any suggestions,
