| Hi, I'm currently experiencing a problem with WMI. On part our network, we have 4 machines, which are as follows: A = Windows XP SP2 B = Windows XP SP2 C = Windows 2003 x64 R2 D = Windows 2003 x64 R2 Via WBemTest, I get the following results A -> B = Ok A -> C = Ok A -> D = Ok B -> A = Ok B -> C = Ok B -> D = Ok C -> A = Hangs, never quits C -> B = Ok C -> D = Ok D -> A = Hangs, never quits D -> B = Ok D -> C = Ok As you can see, I only ever get a problem from the W2K3 machines accessing 1 of the XP Machines. There are other machines I haven't mentioned, but they're all ok. I've also confirmed the following: - settings via dcomcnfg are the same on both XP machines. - Firewall on "A" is turned off. - User account in all scenarios is the same. - All machines are on the same domain. - WMIdiag on "A" reports "Default Trustee" issues, but not sure why this would affect things if B -> A works Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance Bobby | Guest

| Hi Bobby, I would like to know the role of the Windows 2003 servers? What is the error messge you se in the WMIDIAG? Does it point you to specific class ? Wat if we take a simultaneous netMon trace when we are running wbemtest on win2k3 x64 ? "Bobby" wrote: Quote:
