WMP 10 and Windows XP Login Problem

Hi, I am a longtime Musicmatch user. Recently I have been
attempting to convert over to WMP10 because I have heard
that it synchronizes with the Dell DJ better. Here's my
challenge:

My wife and I share a PC. We both have separate Windows
XP user accounts set up on the machine. I will often use
my account to play music while I am working around the
house. Using Musicmatch this is not a problem and the
account will play continuously as long as my account stays
logged in (in other words, my wife can log in check email,
web browse, etc and it does not disturb my music).

However, this does not work well with WMP (10 currently,
but I think also previous versions). If I am playing
tracks via WMP and my wife logs in, my playback is
immediately disabled/paused.

Is there any way to fix this? I need to player that
supports protected WMA content because I have been using
Musicmatch to download my tracks.
