This is really not a workaround. In fact I already use MMJB
to modify tags or
rename files. The problem is specifically when these
fields are changed using
the WMP for the following reasons.
A. I already have a bunch of files modified using WMP.
B. WMP automatically finds, and adds tags to missing fields.
C. Sometimes it is just convinient to use WMP to update
tags on the fly.

D. I just would like to know how WMP synchornises its
database with
the files and vise versa (when file changes done
using another editor,
are reflected into the WMP database? I think it's
good for all of us
to know this.

I agree with you on the WMP ripper. I dont use it either.
I always use
MMJB for that. It's very reasonable. So is this length
issue a WMP bug?

Poxio (sorry

Better to burn

Roxio wont give me an update since the software came
integrated with my
Dell PC over two years ago. I understand the above
process, but I was
just wondering if the XP just does not make an exact copy
of a Music CD,
even though they do make exact copy of a data CD

I'll have to experiment with that and see if the pics show
up on the folder.

question.

I agree with that too. I only use MMJB to do some super
taging and file re-naming.
The feature they have that renames the file from the tags,
or vise versa is
very usefull.
