wmv to MPEG

I have made the jpg format movie using movie maker and burned into the cd
that can play on the computer and trying to converted to MPEG to play on my
normal DVD to watch them but since my dvd not compatible with wmv format i
could not able to watch, even i have used the CD/DVD Roxie soft as well as
TMPGEnc to convert and bured but is negative, would some 1 suggest me what
is the best converter to use or some other point of view.

I would very much appreciate for all ur suggest and remain,

You'll get the best quality MPEG if you save your movie as DV-AVI instead of
WMV. That way you'll only be compressing the video once instead of twice.

I'm having the same problem as Pedro so I downloaded
TMPEGEnc and it doesn't recognize WMV as a valid file
type. Am I doing something wrong?

It doesn't automatically list files with the WMV extension. You need to
view all file types, then select the WMV file. It should work.

MM2 SAVES AS A WMV. WHEN I TRY TO IMPORT TO MY ROXIO
SOFTWARE TO MAKE A MPEG VIDEO I CAN'T. HOW CAN I CONVERT
TO MPEG?
