When I used XP pro, I just turned on the computer and it opened to my
desktop. With Vista Ultimate I always need to click on my administrator icon
then it takes me to my desktop.
Is there a way to do this like I did with XP?
If not, thats OK too, just a bit of inconvenience.
Thanks

Yes. Click the Start button, type
control userpasswords2
Press Enter, clear the "Users must enter a username and password to use this
computer" check box. Then click Apply and enter the user name and password
you wish to automatically log on with,
and then click OK twice.
