Won't accept passwords for Hotmail, Yahoo!, etc.

Jesper / Others:
I enter the password the same as any other computer; no 'caps' on. When I
type in my User name and Password, it will tell me that the email address or
password is incorrect. (Hotmail) For Yahoo!, it tells me to Please Verify
Your Password.

I can access my Yahoo! DSL homepage, Yahoo! mail and Hotmail with no problem
using any of my other computers. I have even tried entering a different user
but get the same error messages and cannot access those pages. Other sites,
such as an automobile forum requiring a User name and Password, I can access
with no log-in problems.

Today, I used Internet Tools and deleted all the files from Temporary
Internet Files, Cookies, History, Form Data and Passwords, but that didn't
solve the problem either.

Is your computer date and time set correctly? Are cookies allowed for the
problematic sites?

Hello dean-dean;

Yes, the date and time are set correctly and both sites are set for
cookies... confusing to me as that I cannot access Hotmail, Yahoo! or eBay,
yet other websites that require a user name and password I can log in to with
no problem...
