Got this to work, I created a new admin account and from
that deleted then recreated my userid. This sorted out a
problem with the user profile, I then mod the registry as
per MS article, added patch q 818134 and it all works,
all user data, MS office, IE, WMP etc etc now use the d:
drive. Magic. It was worth the effort.
