Working with shared files offline

I have my computer set up to use shared offline files -
I've enabled it in the folders options / offline files
tab. When I select a file to share offline and either
right click it or go to the files menu I don't see the
option to make the vile available offline. What I'm I
missing here? I want to be able to keep certain files
(Outlook 2002 for example) syncronized between my desktop
and laptop.
