Works 2000 / XP Service pack 1A

I recently installed the Home version of WinXP, however
it won't let me install my works 2000 or the Service pac
1A. With the installation of works 2000 a window pops up
stating,
Error:1401 Could not create key.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WORKS\5.0
\COMMON\LANGUAGERESOURCE. Verify that you have sufficient
access to that key, or contact your support personel.

And when I reach the end of the XP Service pack 1 setup I
get an "ACCESS DENIED" and these are both done with
Administrator rights. So what can I do to install these
packages? Thank you.
