Works Suite 2003 Install error

I just formatted my HD, installed XP Home and tried to
install Works 2003. While installing it says that it had
an "installation error" but doesn't give a error number.
It says to close down any virus scanning software that is
running in the back ground. This is the first software
that I installed after formatting so there isn't anything
running. Other than what XP has started. Any help would
be appreciated.
