Worthless, and getting worse

Posted: 07-30-2003, 02:20 PM
I keep having problems with lost data, and crashes due to
drivers, even though I have all thewindows signed drivers,
and updates that are out. Why did I lose all my downloads,
documents and bookmarks? I have had it with this
mysterious, and stupid rental Operating system that they
won't fix.
Might as well forget about getting help, they are too busy
counting their money to actually fix the piece of junk. Its
always the same, 95,98, 2000, xp, all of these OS have
major problems. I recomend switching to MAC and their OSX,
it is supposed to never crash, unlike every version of
windows that I have been unfortunate enough to liscense.

You should indeed go to a MAC with your attitude. Let us know next year how
you're doing.

Unless you reformatted, your downloads, documents and bookmarks are there, you
just are signed in with a different profile and you need to take possession of
the directories in question

So you are renting the OS? interesting .... I do hope they are charging you
enough

Mac's are not stable -- my 13year old had her laptop crashed withing 2 hours of
getting it and it continued that way the entire school year. She has a Micron
PC at home running ME of all things that she has to seriously abuse to crash.

At least with Windows you can configure a system the way you want it, with the
components that are important to you -- whether you want to pay top dollar for
them or want bargain basement pieces. --- try doing that with a mac and you will
seriously be left out in the cold!

If you have a specific problem then please feel free to post the
details of that problem to this newsgoup, or to one of the other
microsoft.public.windowsxp.* newsgroups that is more specifically
related to that particular problem.

See http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm for some suggestions as to what
should be included when asking for assistance with a problem.

Good luck
