Hi,
I made a xp embedded system with task manager shell. Goal was to built a
quick booting system. In our former system that used the explorer shell,
wpa(-psk) worked fine with a Cisco Series 350 an some HermesI-Chipset
drivers/cards. In the new task manager system one can still choose
wpa(-psk) in the included wireless zero configuration tool but it seems
not to work properly:
after entering the wlan parameters the icon changes it's status to a
connected network but no data exchange is possible (eg no dhcp address
is received).
I can exclude the AP or other components from misbehaviour because
running the older explorer based system on exactly the same device is
working properly, reproducable.
btw (and perhaps it has something to do with it):
my wlan settings are not shown after closing and reopening the Wireless
Network Connection dialog (but the settings still seem to be active).
