WTF, insert cd labeled Messenger???

I'm trying to uninstall SMTP services from my computer and when I try, i get
a message

[Insert Disk]
Please insert your Compact Disk labeled 'Messenger' into your cd-rom etc etc
etc
[OK][CANCEL]

What the hell is all that about?? I dont' have any cd named messenger

I even tried putting in my XP Pro CD.

Now, get this, WHAT FILE DOES IT NEED???

what kind of BS is that, where when I try to uninstall something, it
requires a dumbass gif from a CD which I do not have or have ever had, in
order to uninstall without aborting.

I just renamed 2 gifs and put them in C, but then after those, it says it
can not copy rtcimps.dll

Someone please help.
