>You need to get the XP cd-rom disk. From start click RUN
whatever letter you cd-rom drive is and type browse. You
should see the choices of INSTALL, REPAIR, or UTILITIES
for lack of a better term. Click on utilities and choose
install BACKUP to your RESTORE utility. Re-boot (cold)
your computer. Click start, programs, accessories, and
then click on BACKUP. It will ask you if you want a
complete system backup and click yes. Direct this backup
to you new harddrive which, would be designated drive-1.
Drive-o is your original C:\ drive. When the copying is
finished, close XP and re-boot pressing the DELETE KEY as
the boot process begins. This should take you to your BIOS
SCREEN and you select you new drive as your BOOT DRIVE. Re-
boot again (warm) and allow it to boot into the new drive
with XP on it. If it worked and it should, then all that
is left is to reformat your old drive in XP Disk
MANAGEMENT and give it a drive letter. I would help if you
were to change the jumper on the back of the old drive to
CABLE SELECT and connect it to the middle connector on the
cable. Now you are looking at 200-gigs. Hope this has been
helpful.
