XP-64 Explorer Crash during WZC "View Available Wireless Networks"

Posted: 02-19-2006, 12:05 PM
I have a problem with 64-bit Windows XP and wireless. Windows is managing
the wrireless connection via Windows Zero Config (WZC). When I try to list
the wireless APs available, Explorer crashes. I've looked at the NDIS OID
OID_802_11_BSSID_LIST in our driver and found that it is called about once a
minute. OID_802_11_BSSID_LIST is not called when trying to view the list
wireless networks. So this may be an explorer bug or it could be that we are
not returning something right from the driver. Is this a know problem with
Explorer?

Another clue to the problem is that once the system has been up for about
10-20 minutes, the problem goes away.

thx,
