my motherboard came with a CD that had several norton
utilities on it. i'm having trouble with norton ghost.
when i try to access it from the CD it opens the command
prompt and basically says the program can't be run on NT
and instructs me to reboot into DOS. i tried running the
application from the command prompt, no luck. tried
booting up into safe mode with the command prompt, same
thing. i then tried making a MS BOOT DISK, restarted and
when i tried to change to the hard drive (c:\) it told
me "invalid drive specification" it basically gave me an
error whenever i tried to change to any drive other than
(A:\) i then tried copying the program onto the floppy
and running it directly from the floppy (as it's only
600k) - this failed to work too.
any suggestions?
why would i not be able to access other drives when it
boots to the (A:\) prompt from the MS BOOT DISK?
