XP boots slow on a network why?

Posted: 10-31-2003, 08:32 PM
I've got a small network with the workstations running XP
Pro and the server running Server 2000. It takes almost 5
mins to log in on the workstations and things slow right
down when running MS Office apps. The workstations are
dual Xeons so I don't know where to look to resolve this.
Any ideas?
