XP Bugs

Well I would try making sure that you're using the 2.2
version of the driver since that is suppose to support
XP. Extremely surprised XP doesn't support it native.
Not sure what you mean by about the @ since every Natural
Keyboard I've seen has the @ above the 2 and even on the
Natural Keyboard website it looks like the @ is above the
2. Other than that I'm not sure what else you can try.

hi mate,

i'm having almost the exact same problem, my " and @ are
round the wrong way. when i press shift and digit 2
where the " sign is i get a @ and visa versa, not sure if
the other guy is american and their keyboards are
different but mine is uk so perhaps europe is different.

i have intellitype 2.2 and it still does not work, msoft
say that the keyboard may need cleaning, but i can't open
mine up can you? i unscrewed it but the middle section
just below the scroll light will not come out and i don't
want to break it, which it seem it will do if i pull any
harder.

i can't find info anywhere on msofts vague help sites to
help me, you'd think it would be easy to just unscrew and
clean but this stupid keyboard does not want to open.
mind you perhaps the juice i spilled in it has made it
stick? although none of the keys seem stuck?

For your first issue it sounds like your regional settings are really set to
"English - US". I would double check.

1. From Regional and Language Options in the Control Panel select the
Languages tab.
2. Click Details...
3. Under "Installed services" area remove any localizations you do not use.
4. Ensure that the entry for "English (United Kingdom) under Keyboard says
United Kingdom. It is possible to set the keyboard to US even though the
Locale is set to UK. If any entries are wrong you can remove them and readd
them correctly.
5. To add: Click Add...
6. Select the Input language - in your case "English (United Kingdom)
7. Select the Keyboard layout/IME - United Kingdom.

Also if you have more than one installed layout you can switch between them
by hitting the Left-Alt and Left-Shift. This is not global though so each
new window will probably open with the default. Hope that helps.
