I cannot access MSN support web site, I can't download
windows updates, I can't access Help and support, and
can't get the disk clean function to work. I am scanned
for viruses several times. I am doing anything wrong or
time for a trip to repair?

This might help improve the situation.

Download Adaware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ and use
it to remove parasites.

Look for error messages and post details -best one problem at a time <g>. You can always look at these in Event Viewer. Start, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information regarding Event ID: and Source Description are important.
