XP desktops losing IEx access

I run 4 desktops thru XP. Over time, 2 of the 4 desktops
have lost the abilty to run Internet Explorer (Outlook
and AIM do continue to work). My desktop (sysad) and one
other seem fine. When I System Restore, I can get it all
back, only to see access disappear again in a few days on
those two desktops.

Any suggestions solve this mystery?
