XP Explorer Doesn't See FAT32 Drive

Posted: 11-22-2003, 10:30 PM
We've just put together a new computer, and reformatted
the old primary drive with NTFS, now seen as drives C: and
G:. After installing XP we put the other old FAT32 hard
drive in the new computer. Device Manager says the drive
is there and working properly, but on Windows Explorer it
doesn't show up.

How can we access this FAT32 drive?

thanks,
Annette

Go to the Computer Management screen and see if you can see the drive.

If it already does not have one, assign it a drive letter!
