XP File Permissions

We're currently working on an company-wide upgrade from NT
to XP and we've come across some bizare Read-Only file
permissions on the C:\Windows folder and the C:\Documents
and Settings folder. For clarification, does anyone know
what the default file permissions are for a general XP
image for these two folders? We want to be able to
identify if these were set on our image or whether or not
it's the Microsoft default.

I have a solution. reboot in safe mode, does not need to
be a command prompt. locate the file, highlight the file,
and right click, select Properties.
You will notice that you now have a Security tab that is
not available in the normally running version of XP.
Select the Security tab
You will see all security attributes not just the ones
available at runtime...

Enjoy,

Tobin

Yes that would work, but at this point we need to know
what ARE the default system file permissions on Windows
XP.
