drive that did the same thing for a while and then began
freezing up my sytem at will. It corrupted my files and
caused booting problems also. This drive was 2-months
old. After biting the bullet, I took it out and replaced
it with a WESTERN DIGITAL 120-gig. Since then, no
problems. I think MAXTORS ARE JUNK and I have found other
people on the web of the same opinion.
