I've read extensively on the problems associated with XP Home and
sharing of any type.
When I first setup my network, things were fine. I was able to view
workgroup computers just fine and I was able to access Computer 2 from
Computer 1 for file sharing. (Which was fine.)
Last week I installed a new printer and shared it. That went well.
But all of a sudden I cannot view workgroup computers on either
computer. I click on "view workgroup computers" and nothing happens on
either. I tried using the Home Network Wizard, but all that did was
enable the Windows firewall - which I disabled on both.
I try to add new Network Places but my workgroup doesn't show up in
the list.
I can still add printers galore and view the workgroup while adding
printers.
Any ideas or help out there?
