Default XP and LAN Problems

We are experiencing a few problems with the network in
which we have 80-90 Clients. At present the network
consists of:-

1 File and Mail Server running Windows 2000 and Exchange
2000 Server.
1 Web server running ISA Server 2000 and 5 100Mb data
switches.
We have a LAN over two sites which are connected via
ISDN. The network over the secondary site (The one
without the servers) is slow at the best of times,
however the network seems to have diminished even more
since XP has been installed, as we used to have Windows
95 beforehand. The staff at the secondary site are on
local profiles, as roaming profiles won't work.
The problem we are having is the fact that when
people from the seconday site try to access files on the
server. The application is crashing due to the fact of
the networkbeing so slow. However we havent changed any
of the network, apart from the operating systems. The
network was sufficiently accessible when using the
Windows 95 machines. Why has the network suddenly ground
to a halt, with the new operating system? Is there any
possible solutions in remedying this problem?

Please let me know

Default Re: XP and LAN Problems

first of all try using dsl instead of isdn (its cheaper). second xp doesnt
really like slow bandwidth and times out quite frequently, especially
outlook 2002.
