XP new install with Ultra 320.

I have an ultra320 controller mirroring two 36gb disks with a dvd re-writable drive
All parts are new
When trying to install Windows XP the driver file (a320raid.sys) is loaded into memory from floppy disk. After the windows files have been copied over to disk it asks to copy the driver file onto disk. At this time it cannot see the driver file on the floppy. Do I need to modify the txtsetup.oem file in some way ? I have tried using the downloaded driver ( from adaptec ) and the driver supplied on the cd with the same results. The install fails after this. How can I get the driver copied across ?

Installing win 2k followed by XP does the trick.
