XP Pro trial

Posted: 03-17-2005, 07:00 PM
Hi,

Is there any where I can download an 180 day trial of Windows XP Pro 32 bit
version software? I want to play with it to learn about Networks etc - for
potentially doing an MCSE.

We do not make the Windows XP Professional OS available as time limited
trial copy.
see
http://www.microsoft.com/products/in.../xslt/overview

Hi Mike,

Thanks for replying. I noted that some books come with a CD with a
trial version which is why I wondered whether it was available for
download.

Thanks

Antony

Hi anthony,

Yep, a number of the MCSE or MCP training books do include time limited
versions of the Server and in some cases the desktop (Windows XP) operating
system.
Unfortunately we do not offer the desktop time limited version for free
download.

The http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/preview/default.asp page no longer
exists.
There is no public trial version of Windows XP (other then those shipped
with MCP training books and courseware)

Also Will - do not post your BetaID in a public group.
