xp repair nightmare

Hi,

I need your help. I hope you have come across this one before.

I put my windows cd into my work laptop to see would i get the repair option
(thinking I could enter my Encryption Plus password and then have it boot
from the windows cd).

All I did was boot from it to the screen where it shows the drives didn't
repair or delete, just turned it off.

Now it won't boot. I get 'Error loading operating system'.

Is my data lost forever? Please help me..

From what you posted, you were able to boot from the WinXP CD but did
not get the Repair Option? You got a screen that showed you the drives did
not repair or delete and
then you turned it off, manually? No, you data is not lost forever.
