I purchased a new computer with XP. I can not reinstall
due to the fact the product key is not valid. The tech
support from the retailer stated I needed to contact
Microsoft....

I am so fed up with MS.. WHY DOES MICROSOFT put out
products with so many "patches"?????

The "tech support from the retailer" is wrong. They, and not Microsoft,
have responsibility for providing technical support for a computer they
preinstalled Windows XP on.
