| I tried to log on to my XP Pro. workstation this morning and received a "Cannot find user profile" message. I am now getting a new user wizard asking me if I would like to take the XP tour. Is there a solution to get my profile back? | Guest

| Or you can create the new profile and: Copy the files from the old account to the new one C:\Documents and Settings\<old username>\ C:\Documents and Settings\<new username>\ Hope you can solve the problem... | This works even when the profile has been deleted. When a profile is deleted, the folders and files remain in the C:\Documents and Settings\ folder -- Dan "Dan" <dan@wstech.ath.cx> wrote in message news:eLuBPGvWDHA.1536@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... Quote:
