XP won't allow Streets & Trips 2002 install

After a new install of Home edition of XP. (New Install)
During several attempts to install Streets & Trips 2002
the computer quits and reboots before the applications is
installed.
Any suggestions?

I'd contact MSFT to find out if they know of any issues, I can't think of
any reason it wouldn't run.
