XP wont print on shared network printers

We have computers running XP and Win 2000Pro on our
network. In one lab, we are having trouble printing.
There are two printers and 17 computers. The printer is
connected to a win2000 machine the other an xp. The
win2000 computers are working fine, but the XPs have
started ignoring the fact there is a printer installed.
They will not print. Sometimes you can go into the
printer properties and print a test page and the computer
prints again. Other times you have to delete the printer
and reinstall it.

What could be happening here? Any ideas?

We use win 2000 server. And all users are member of
DomainAdmin, and DomainUser.
