XPE Taskbar Problem

Hi,

I am trying to build an xp image using the Winlogo Macro. Everything
builds and compiles fine, except when XPE starts to run on the target
device I cannot get a taskbar with a "Start" button. After I log in I
see a half of a task bar at the bottom of my screen and no "Start"
button or clock. Has anyone encounter this problem before ?

What am I doing wrong ?

I am using a PC104 x86 PC with 128Mbs of RAM and
256Mbs of Disk On Module (DOM connected to IDE port)

Half of the taskbar? Wow.. I have never since such behavior under any Windows OSes. That must be a crash.

I was just wondering how big is your image? (usually WinLogon images are not small). But you mentioned you've got only 128M RAM.
Could it be that you are experiencing *out of memory* issues?

It almost sounds like the display adapter component settings (resolution)
might be off. Does your device use quarter VGA?

Actually, I have seen that a couple times before a few years ago but
was due to missing side by side components or Shell components that the
user did not satisfy in the runtime's dependencies. Basically, not all
the explorer shell dependencies were being added to the configuration.

I have never seen this when i fully satisfy my dependencies though.
