Re: Xtreme Slow Print on Lexmark X73 Using XP

Earlier post commented on extremely slow printing of documents using WinXP,
along with hangup of Lexmark Printer Control UI.

Found a resolution among FAQs on Lexmark site discussing how to change spool
settings. Setup suggests Print Processor selection Lexmark Print Processor
using default data type LEMF . Workaround discussed in the Lexmark FAQ
suggests changing to Winprint print processor with RAW or NTEMF default data
types.

In my case, the Winprint/RAW combination results in immediate prints AND
bypasses the Lexmark Print Control UI that had been hanging up.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Bill Wallace
