Your Vista License will expire in 0 days

Posted: 07-13-2008, 10:26 AM
I have been using Vista Ultimate for about 7 months now and registered within
a couple of weeks of using it, however I have been getting pop up messages to
say that my vista license will expire in 7,6,5,4,3 etc etc days and now it
says Your vista license will expire in 0 days and prompts me to activate it,
however when I look under Control Panel/System it says that my windows is
registered and displays my product ID ok?

Does anyone know why this is happening or how it can be disabled?

Thanks

Are you running a Beta Version of SP1. If so, uninstall it.

The only one I can see is Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB936330) but
this was installed prior to be sent to me.

Thanks

Where can I get the final version of SP1 from or should it come up in
Windows update once I have uninstalled the beta version?

You can not have SP1 installed by the Manufacturer 7 months ago, as SP1 was
NOT released until march-april 2008.
Follow the directions in thelink below, then get SP1t.
